The Rocks kept up the pressure on the top four with a comfortable 97-58 victory at Mersey Tigers.
Led by 20 points from Donald Robinson the Rocks used a big second half to pull away from their hosts.
A 14-2 run, capped by an EJ Harrison two, gave the Rocks and eight-point lead by Tigers battled back to end the level at 20-20 through Joshua Lockett before Brice Fantazia edged the Rocks back in front before the first break.
Tigers kept it tight through the second quarter and trailed by just two (35-33) until Glasgow ended the half on an 11-6 burst to lead 46-39 at half time.
Glasgow blew the match open in the third quarter. Three pointers were the order of the day as Rocks outscored their hosts 29-5. Andrew Wedemire’s triple capped a fantastic ten minutes for Sterling Davis’s team as they took a 75-44 lead into the final stanza.
There was no way back for Tigers as Rocks piled on the points in the fourth quarter.
