Clark Eriksson Fury – Scottish League Champions season 2012-13 , current front-runners in the Scottish League this season – will face pro British Basketball League side  the Glasgow Rocks in what will be the final chapter of the Rocks pre-season build up. The two sides faced off last season in a pre-season fixture with the Rocks winning by 16.

The Falkirk side have a very strong squad which include some ex-Rock players who will be looking to prove a point. Players include current Rock – Jonny Bunyan and former Rocks players – Keith Bunyan, Roni Gordon,Scott Russell, Martin Malnieks and former BBL centre Stuart McKay. Fury also have Frenchman Walter Lubeigt, former Panathinaikos junior Greg Foussas and Lithuanian Tomas Venslauskas as well as some of the best young players in Scotland in their line-up.

Fury Headcoach John Bunyan is looking forward to an exciting game and an opportunity for the fans in the Central belt to come and watch the Rocks pro team and not just support Fury in season 13/14 but hopefully help support the Glasgow Rocks pro team for 2013/14.

The Rocks will be eager to put together an all round game as they finalise preparations for their season opener against Surrey United on the 6th October which will be played at the Emirates Arena in front of a predictated blockbuster home crowd, all eager to celebrate the 1st Anniversary of the arena.

Tickets for the Fury fixture will be sold on the door.

We look forward to seeing you there!
