After a strong second half performance, Plymouth University Raiders won their second game in a row after defeating Glasgow Rock 73-89 on the road in Scotland.
Having lost the two opening games, the Plymouth side bounced back with two wins in a row for a 2-2 record, while Rocks suffered defeat for the first time after winning their first match.
The lead changed hands quite a few times early in the first half, with neither side being able to get a tighter grip on the game. Rocks did jump ahead to a 33-26 lead in the second quarter, but Raiders cut the gap to two before halftime.
Plymouth decided to take initiative in the third period, winning the quarter 29-13 to establish a 68-54 lead, behind terrific play from Donald Robinson.
Having built a solid lead, the Raiders had did not let it slip out of their hands, playing thoughtful and control basketball in the fourth quarter.
Donald Robinson finished the game with 30 points for the winners, Shane Walker had a double-double of 19 points and 10 rebounds, while Matt Pressey chipped in with 14 points, seven rebounds and four assists.
For Rocks, Chez Marks and EJ Harrison had 18 points each, while Daniel Northern added 16 points and 12 rebounds.
