The Rocks will be continuing their hard work with charities at the upcoming game on the 23rd March when the Rocks face the Eagles. Arthritis Research UK will have a presence at the fixture and will be looking to raise awareness of their charity.
Arthritis is a very debilitating condition which affects people of all ages, including babies as young as 6 months. Although it is not immediately life threatening, it can and does rob people of their quality of life.
Arthritis Research UK is determined to keep people who are living with arthritis as active as possible, doing the things they love.
Arthritis Research UK are the biggest funder in the UK of research into the cause, treatment and cure of all forms of arthritis and every piece of research that we fund has patient benefit at its heart.
We don’t believe that arthritis is an inevitable part of getting older, and we want to make sure that people get the right access to treatments and drugs that can help them live their lives as fully as possible.
Arthritis Research UK will be hoping to raise some funds at the game on Sunday – all money raised will go directly to helping people living with arthritis here in Scotland.
