BBL Championship
Plymouth Raiders 75 (15,40,58) (Grady 19, Corletto 16, Dixon 12)
Glasgow Rocks 86 (28,41,61) (Achara 19, Lescault/Watson 16)

Glasgow Rocks completed a double-winning weekend in the South-West after beating Plymouth Raiders 75-86 at the Pavilions.

Sterling Davis’ side followed up their success at Bristol Flyers with their 14th league victory of the season – four points adrift of second place.

Kieron Achara top scored with 19 points in the win with a shared 32 points added from back-court duo Hayden Lescault and Neil Watson.

It was the Rocks who made the better start and they opened up a commanding 18-point lead at 10-28 in the first.

Plymouth scored the final five points of the opening period and began to mount a fightback with a 16-2 burst across quarters to cut the gap to four. The home side completed the turnaround with a three from Daryl Corletto, but the Rocks edged back ahead at the half-time buzzer.

Watson had the hot hand in the third with three triples in short succession as Glasgow led 52-59. However, Plymouth surged back ahead with a 5-0 start to the fourth and it would take a late 12-1 burst from the Rocks to kill off the game.

The Rocks were supported by a big contingent of loyal fans who made the long trip down south for both games over the Doomsday Double Header Weekend. The Rocks organisation would like to thank all those that traveled down and #BroughtTheNoise.
