Glasgow Rocks and Great Britain favourite Kieron Achara has been crowned Molten BBL Player of the Month for February.
The frontcourt star had an excellent period after posting a succession of towering performances for Rocks to lead his team to a highly productive month.
While they lost their opener against Riders at the start of February, Achara was pivotal to Rocks bouncing back with four straight wins.
Amassing an average performance efficiency valuation of 20.6 across those five games, that figure was mainly drawn from an excellent 18.6 points per game – helped by a perfect 100% from the free-throw line and going 12 of 23 from beyond the arc.
The Stirling native also did the business on the glass with seven rebounds per game and was the BBL’s leading shot-blocker during February as he swatted an average of two shots per game.
Achara fought off strong challenges from Daryl Corletto of Plymouth Raiders and Brandon Clark of Leicester Riders to take the award.
