| Glasgow Rocks | 86 |
| Guildford Heat | 75 |
The loss ends the Rocks hopes of a top 4 finish and a home quarter-final playoff game. With two league games remaining, the Rocks will now look to maintain their narrow margin over Sheffield Sharks and hold on to 5th place.
The Rocks started the game strong and at one point held a 19 point lead. Rob Yanders was the Rocks’ top scorer with 19 points while player/coach Sterling Davis added 16. Moritz Wohlers also contributed 15 and Squeaky Hampton had 14.
The game was always to be a difficult road for the Braehead side as two of their regulars (co-captain Julius Joseph and Danish national Bilal Clarance) were out with injuries.
The Rocks played the entire first half without a substitution and built a 14-point lead by halftime. However, the Scots heard too many whistles from the officials as both Wohlers and Yanders fouled out before the final buzzer.
Next up for the Rocks is a trip to Everton on Friday before the side’s final home game at Braehead Sunday night (20 April) when Guildford Heat come visiting.
