Despite the loss, the Rocks fought hard to keep the game close against a red-hot Lions squad who shot a blistering 58% from the field and 48% from three-point range.
Player/coach Sterling Davis led the Rocks scoring effort with 24 points while Moritz Wohlers added 21 and Rob Yanders 16. Yorrick Williams led the Lions with 27.
The 'never-say-die' Rocks tried desperately to chip away at the Lions lead in the final minutes and had it down to 7 with just over a minute to go. However, Milton Keynes converted nearly all of their free throws down the stretch to seal the victory.
