Rocks Lose Thrilling Opening Game to Eagles

The Glasgow Rocks have lost their first game of the 2009/10 season 86 - 90 to Newcastle Eagles.
It was a thrilling battle which saw the Rocks mount a courageous comeback in the fourth quarter having fallen thirteen behind in the third. Jessie Sapp stood out for the Rocks scoring 26 in his competitive debut for the Kelvin Hall side. Captain Robs Yanders followed closely behind with 21 points personal.
The Rocks are next in action away to Milton Keynes Lions this Friday 2nd October - tip-off 7.30pm.
