Rocks End 2009 on a High with 82-63 Win Over Heat

The Rocks returned to winning ways tonight at Kelvin Hall seeing the year out with a solid 82 - 63 victory over Guildford Heat.
The Rocks started shakey, coming back from Christmas break, and ended the opening quarter 11 points behind their visitors. The Rocks came back in the second quarter with a strong defensive mindset, limiting the Heat to only 8 points. The home side continued to gain momentum in the second half coming out eventual winners, 82-63.
Rocks captain Rob Yanders stood out with a faultless performance earning him 30 points personal for the game.
The Rocks return to home action in 2010 with a Trophy game versus Sheffield Sharks on January 10th (tip-off 5pm at Kelvin Hall).
