Dance on court with the UK's Hottest Cheerleaders,the Rockettes Pro-Dance Team!
The Rockettes Dance Workshop is back again for its 8th Season. Make sure you don't miss out on your chance to learn some moves from the best Cheerleaders the UK has to offer.
The 8th Scottish Rockettes Dance Workshop will be held on Sunday the 7th March 2010
starting at 12:30pm at the Kelvin Hall International Sports Arena. Cost will be £15 per person.
The Workshop will consist of:
A 2½-hour coaching session from the Rockettes during which they will learn a choreographed routine suitable for their age and dance experience.
Participant's entry to the game against the London Capital (tip-off at 5pm, game should finish at around 7pm). Additional tickets may be purchased from the Box Office prior to the game beginning.
The opportunity to perform the routine they learned on court with the Rockettes during the game.
A unique individual photocard for each applicant to be posted out after the Workshop.
A prize for the person who impressed the teachers most in each group.
Itinerary:
12:30 - 13:00 – Registration.
13:00 - 13:15 – Group warm-up.
13:15 - 15:45 – Learn dance routine in allocated group.
15:45 - 16:00 – Break for bite to eat (we recommend that you bring a packed-lunch as kids under 16-years-old will not be allowed to leave the Arena without parental supervision).
16:00 - 16:45 – Doors open for Glasgow Rocks vs. London Capital game. Parents wishing to attend the game should arrive at this time.
The first group will perform their routine during the pre-game entertainment at approximately 4:45pm. The game will start at 5pm and the second group will perform their routine at the end of the first quarter. The third group will perform their routine at the end of the third quarter and the game should finish at about 7pm.
