Rocks Winning Run Ends with 59 -88 Loss to Jets

The Glasgow Rocks winning run was halted tonight by a 59 - 88 loss at home to Cheshire Jets. The Glasgow side were looking to extend their winning streak to six games tonight at Kelvin Hall but failed to match the superior shooting power of their opponents.
The Jets shot an incredible 56% from the field compared to the Rocks 40%. The visiting team dominated from the outset and the Rocks, without captain Rob Yanders, were unable to respond. Mike Copeland led the scoring for the Rocks on 17 points.
The Rocks will need to dust themselves off as they travel to Milton Keynes this Tuesday 16th March to take on the Lions.
