Rocks Secure Home Court Quarter Final

The Glasgow Rocks tonight secured home court advantage in the playoff quarter-finals with a thrilling 101 - 92 victory over the Leicester Riders. It was a nail biting encounter in which the Rocks edged the lead for most of the forty minutes. A fully fit Rob Yanders led the Rocks on scoring with 23 points, followed by Mike Copeland on 20.
Other results in the league cemented the Rocks third place position but they will need to wait to find out their opposition for the tie as the battle continues for sixth place.
The Rocks travel to Everton on Friday 16th for their penultimate game ahead of the highly anticipated final day match up with old rivals Newcastle Eagles. A sell out is expected for the final game of the regular season ahead of the now scheduled quarter final on Sunday 25th April (tip-off 5pm).
