Rocks take on Eagles in final game of the regular season... TICKETS SELLING FAST FOR THIS HUGE GAME...

Another chapter in the cross-border rivalry between Glasgow Rocks and Newcastle Eagles will be written this Sunday, when the two teams meet at Kelvin Hall this Sunday. Despite some closely cut games in previous seasons, the Eagles have won the two games against the Rocks this season, and Rocks' player-coach, Sterling Davis, will need another big game from guard duo Rob Yanders and Jessie Sapp, who scored 23 points and 18 points respectively in the Rocks last game, against Jelson Homes DMU Leicester Riders last Sunday. The Rocks came out with a 101-92 win, and the American was satisfied with that crucial result: 'Rob (Yanders) and Jessie (Sapp) played off each other very well this last game with their dribble-drive attack, which opened up the floor for other guys to get in great positions for shots.' He added: 'Against the Eagles, we will just have to stay consistent throughout the game. The game of Basketball consists of runs and the team that can limit runs and the length of those runs, usually wins the game and that's what we will need to focus
on.'

Fabulous Flournoy, player-coach of the Eagles, has also seen some superb performances from his American guard duo, Reggie Jackson and Joe Chapman, as they went for 26 and 17 points respectively in the Riders game. Chapman hit an incredible 6/8 from three point land in that game, and went 8/13 from behind the arc on Sunday, as the Eagles beat Cheshire Jets 93-85.

Flournoy expressed his delight at the form of two of his import players, commenting: 'Reggie (Jackson) has finally found his strength in terms of what he can do and how good he can be when he is consistent. In a month and a half, Reggie has turned up the heat in all areas of his game and has come out of his shell and displayed that he is at top point guard in our league. His partner in crime Joe (Chapman) is hands-down, one of the top performer in our league' Flournoy added: 'He has put all his critics to shame when they questioned if he was good enough. They (Jackson and Chapman) are two players who have proven time and time again that they can play with the best in our league - just look at the numbers over the past few months' the New Yorker exclaimed.
