The race for 4th, 5th and 6th spot has become quite intense after the Rocks lost to the Tigers away from home.
In a somewhat meaningless game for the Rocks, the Tigers came out firing on all cylinders as they try to keep their faint hopes of finishing inside the top four alive. The Tigers shot an amazing 81% from the field, and 36% from beyond the arc.
With the Rocks already certified 3rd spot, the only worry was the chance of attaining injuries. All will be revealed on Sunday when the Rocks play the Eagles as to the seriousness of the bumps and bruises attained.
At present, the Rocks could mathematically still play either Cheshire, Everton, or Leicester in the Quarter Finals of the Playoffs. The smart money would be on Leicester making the long trip up to Glasgow next week, but as we have found out on numerous occasions throughout the season, nothing is certain , and anything can happen..
It will be an interesting Weekend....
