The 6ft4 guard spent the past two seasons playing in France for ESPE Chalons-en-Champagne Basket Pro.
Last Season Mubarak averaged 10ppg, 1.9rpg, and 1.1bpg for the French side, as well as shooting an impressive 49.4% from the field, including 39.4% from beyond the three point line.
Rocks player/coach Sterling Davis hopes Mubarak will provide some extra depth at both ends of the court.
“Moses is a lock down defender who plays very smart, while also shooting a high percentage from the 3-point line. He has the versatility to play the 2 or the 3 position which will give us that utility guy on the perimeter.”
Mubarak has already had some notable basketball experience in France, and it should give him a good platform to further his career in Glasgow.
“Moses has a good level of basketball experience, playing in France Pro-B and NM1 leagues. I think he will come in and be even more of a presence here than he showed in the French league.”
The club will be announcing further additions to the roster in the coming days, prior to their first test of the season against the USA Select team on the 11th September at Kelvin Hall, 3:00pm...
