The Rocks were lead by Maurice “Squeaky” Hampton with 20 points while player/coach Sterling Davis poured in 18 of his own. Co-captain Rob Yanders added 15.
Following up the Rocks defeat of Leicester Riders by 77-79 on Saturday night with a solid win in Birmingham, Davis had this to say:
“Feels good to get two wins in a row, especially on the road. Hopefully this is a turning point for us. We were able to overcome some adversity this weekend that we may not have been able to do two weeks ago. It shows that we are taking steps forward.”
The Rocks have another short week of preparation as they’ll head back down the road to face Everton Tigers at Greenbank Sports Academy on Friday before returning home to Braehead to take on 4th place Sheffield Sharks on Sunday the 18th.
