The Glasgow Rocks will be holding their annual open trials again this year.

The date has been confirmed for Saturday the 13th of August at the Kelvin Hall ISA, 11am to 1pm. The Rocks will also be staging an extra 1-2 hour Trial for Professional Development Players straight after the main event at 1pm.

Try-outs are an opportunity for young talent to come and showcase themselves in front of Rocks Head Coach, Sterling Davis. The try-outs are open to anyone over the age of 18 and who is willing to commit to practice and compete with the Rocks on a regular basis.

Rocks head Coach, Sterling Davis had this to say:

“Open try-outs are a great opportunity for any young basketball players looking to breakthrough to a professional level. In the past we have found some great young Scottish and International players."

Previous years have unearthed some amazing talent, including players like Gareth Murray, Scott Russell & Rory Petrie.
