The Rocks were led by Moritz Wohlers with 21 points while Maurice “Squeaky” Hampton added 19. Player/coach Sterling Davis also hit double figures with 14 points as did Julius Joseph (12) and Arbroath’s Gareth Murray (10).
The win keeps the Rocks alive in their BBL Trophy group with Newcastle and Everton. The Scottish side travel to Everton on Friday night for the return leg against the Tigers. A win in that game will set up an opportunity for the Rocks to advance to the Trophy semi-final if they can win big over Newcastle on the 20th.
