The Rocks were led by Maurice “Squeaky” Hampton with 22 points. Co-captain Rob Yanders added 19 and Arbroath’s Gareth Murray had 14.
Head Coach Sterling Davis was pleased with the victory, but echoed Yanders’ pre-game sentiment about the Braehead side’s desire for more.
“The team played well tonight as I expected. We have always been a team that bounces back from a tough defeat.
“What I can admit is that I didn’t expect us to win as convincingly as we did. I felt a sense of concentration from the time we left Glasgow until we arrived in Milton Keynes.
“We are pleased as a team with the win, but not satisfied. We still have 14 games remaining on the schedule.”
It’s a quick turn-around for the Rocks as they have just 1 day to recover from their southern journey before facing Sheffield Sharks at Braehead on Sunday.
