The Rocks were led by “Squeaky” Hampton with 24 points including 6 from 3-point range. Rob Yanders added 20 and Julius Joseph 17.
The victory halts a 4-game losing streak for the Rocks that included a narrow 4-point loss to League leaders Newcastle Eagles on Friday night. The Rocks now sit just behind 4th place Milton Keynes Lions and hope to overtake them before the end of the season to claim the 4th and final home slot for the BBL Playoff quarterfinals.
The Rocks will take on the Panthers again next Sunday at Braehead before turning their attention to the big midweek clash against Milton Keynes on the 26th. That all important game will likely determine the Rocks playoff fate and discounted tickets are on offer for a limited time.
