Rocks Fall in OT Before Record Crowd [return]

SAMG Verve Scottish Rocks fell in an overtime thriller to the Milton Keynes Lions by 82-85 before a record crowd of 2,417 Wednesday night at Braehead Arena.

The roaring mob were left gutted when Moritz Wohlers last second three-point attempt bounced off the rim.

The Rocks were paced by Squeaky Hampton with 25 points while Wohlers and Julius Joseph each added 15. The Lions were led by Yorrick Williams with 24.

The loss now leaves the Rocks 4 points behind the Lions in the race for the fourth and final home playoff spot. Next up for the Rocks is a trip to London Capital on Sunday.

Next home game is Sunday 13 April at Braehead Arena when 2nd place Plymouth Raiders come to town.
