THE FIRST Glasgow East Mayhem got off a good start on Friday 12th November, with 7 teams all competing to be the Glasgow East Champion.
The tournament saw the Crocodiles and Hyenas join forces to compete in the first Mayhem tournament but with some of their top players missing, could not get past the round robin round to get to the final.
Parents who were there to support the young ballers from the east also got treated to a small half-time show which showcased the Aultmore park dance group who showed off their hip-hop dancing which added to the atmosphere.
The final game was a nail-biting finish between guest participants Arc Stars, sponsored by Micrositez, from the north end of Glasgow and the Lochend Lions from Easterhouse. The young stars ironically stole the show in the last minute of the game by scoring two quick fast-breaks which won them the game at 10-6.
