In addition to our Cadette, Junior and Senior Women teams who play in the Scottish National League, we also hold sessions for boys and girls who are still at primary school.
Gladiator Rocks Basketball Academy is a Community basketball programme for boys and girls aged 5+. Fundamental skills are our focus along with each young person learning Leadership skills that they can transfer to other areas of their life.
At the same time we have a boys team that train and work hard together. We have just recently put this team together and will be playing in the Regional Development League (RDL) next year to play competitive matches against the teams in the West of Scotland.
So if you are looking to have a fun training session with our great coaches then get yourself along. Our coaches will work on various skills such as:
- Team bonding
- Problem Solving
After the main skill part we will follow up with a basketball game to finish the session. If you like what you see then come along and enjoy what we have to offer!
Sessions are held at the Community Sports Hub at:
Venue: St. Maurice’s High School in Cumbernauld
Westfield, Cumbernauld, G68 9AG
Days: Wednesday and Friday
Venue: St. Ambrose High School
