The 6’0” American/Scottish guard has decided to come back to the Rocks for another season after being an important piece in last season’s squad.

Burroughs impressed Coach Davis with his determination and dedication throughout 2015/16. Rocks fans will be hoping for that same spark from the bench on game days as Bantu looks forward to battling it out against the likes of Neil Watson and Jonny Bunyan at training day in day out.

Bantu is excited to be returning and can’t wait to see all the Rocks faithful at the Emirates Arena this season.

“I’m very happy to be back in Glasgow this season. My rookie year was great because coach and my fellow team mates shared my passion for the game; it was incredible to be around that sort of energy on a regular basis. Our fans really made me feel welcome in Glasgow and they brought an unrivaled energy to the Emirates Arena. I’m looking forward to getting them on their feet again this season.”

Coach Davis had the following to say about the retention of the Scottish Guard.

“It’s great for us to have Bantu back.  He is a guy who is hungry to improve every day and really sets the tone within the team to work hard.  He never takes a day off and really pushes the group, especially our guards to get better.  There are a lot of intangible characteristics that really make him an important piece to our team.”
