The Radisson RED Glasgow Rocks are excited to announce the signing of Terrell Vinson for the remainder of the season.
Hailing from Baltimore in the United States; the 29 year old forward brings a wealth of experience to the Rocks. Since graduating from the University of Massachusetts (NCAA Div 1) in 2013, he has competed in a number of leagues across Europe including the LEB Gold in Spain and Romanian Div A. Most recently he played in the Icelandic league with UMFN Njardvik (2017-18 season) and Grindavik (18-19 season) , averaging 22 points per game and 9.6 rebounds
Coach Vincent Lavandier had this to say about signing Terrell:
“After the departure of Eli (Pepper), I wanted to recruit a 4 position with experience in Europe, with a more adequate profile for Europe.
Terrell is a player who has was part of a very good NCAA program and who has spent many years in Europe. It is a real post 4 and a half that will rebalance our roster. Having played in Iceland with my friend, and former player Logi Gunnarsson (international Icelandic), Terrell will bring his knowledge, intensity and intelligence into the game. He will, however, have to find a rhythm of competitions before being successful with the Rocks.“
